Whenever a pimple gets popped on my face, it leaves a stubborn acne mark. I’ve looked for the best possible ways to get rid of those acne marks.
Today I’ve come up with a solution for acne marks that might work for you.
Green tea!
Yes, you heard it right.
Why green tea?
Research has shown that both oral and topical use of green tea has shown significant results in treating acne. Also green tea has anti-bacterial properties and is rich in antioxidants. It reduces inflammation and helps to combat acne and blemishes.
Preparation method
Take a cup of water (about 100 ml) and boil it. Add 1 spoon of green tea or dip a green tea bag in it. Let it brew for 5 mins. Allow it to cool. Once it cools down, transfer the liquid to a glass spray bottle and add half a spoon of aloe gel. Store it in the fridge. This mixture will be good enough for 7 to 8 days.
Tip : Don’t store diy remedies in plastic containers as it will not give the desired results. Opt out for glass containers.
How to use?
Wash your face with a gentle cleanser. Spray the green tea mixture all over your face. Dab it all over your face. The cooling effect will help in reducing the inflammation. Apply a good moisturiser. And you are ready to go!
Caution : Patch test before use. If you find any irritation or itiching sensation don’t use it, as aloe gel will not suit for every skin type.
Use this remedy consistently for better results. You will see the black marks fade after 2-3 months of consistent usage.
Pro tip!
Along with this toner, use a face mask of neem leaves + besan + pinch of turmeric + rose water on twice in a week for better results. Apply the face mask leave it on for 20 mins or till it dries and wash it off. Apply moisturiser.

Today I am sharing this topic because most of us may have many past regrets. Even I do have a lot of past regrets. The most painful word in the world is “if”. I don’t know where exactly I heard this dialogue but today I understood the emotions and the pain behind the word “if”.
Sometimes I feel that I don’t belong to this world. It hurts a lot when the person you love the most, backstabs you. When you trust blindly a fake person who is just with you, so that, they might be benefitted in some way or the other.
Whenever you feel low or depressed, engage yourself in activities that you love a lot. You need not spend a lot of time, by spending 20-30 mins you will surely feel the difference. I usually listen to songs. Even I’ll eat lot of candies when I feel depressed. I don’t know why but it’s a habit of mine. Make sure that you have a stress buster hobby too.
In this busy world, everyone runs behind something. Just hold back for a moment and spend some quality time for yourself.
“Take a deep breath and start afresh”. This is what I actually do and trust me it will help you too.

Most of us have the problem of dark lips. Excessive use of lipsticks and smoking causes our lips dark and chapped. Follow the remedy for gorgeous pink lips.
Take 2 spoons of sugar and 1 spoon of honey. Mix well. Add 10-15 drops of beetroot juice. Mix well. Now our scrub is ready to use. Store it in an air tight container. This will be good enough for 1 week. If you have bigger lips then increase the quantity of ingredients in the right proportion.
Use this scrub on alternate days. Take the mixture and scrub mildly on your lips. Don’t be harsh. Wipe it off and apply a good lip balm. It would be an added advantage if the lip balm contains SPF. Within a few weeks of usage, you will notice that your lip colour becomes lighter than before.
Caution : Patch test before use as some might be allergic to honey. Also remember that some remedies that might work for me might not actually work for you. So don’t be frustrated if you have not seen any result after using this scrub.
You might have heard this step a lot of times. “Keep yourself hydrated”. Make sure you drink at least 6 litres of water per day. Drinking water helps to flush out toxins from your body and helps to rejuvenate our cells.
Don’t stress yourself to drink a lot of water. For instance, if you drink 2 liters of water per day, push a little forward of yourself to drink 2.5 litres of water the next day. Drinking 6 litres of water is good but at the same time you must ensure that your body should be capable of accepting that amount of water intake. Because, sufficient amount of water intake differs from person to person.
